Cinder, who does not remember anything from before her surgery where she was given cyborg parts to replace the human ones after an accident, goes on a journey within herself to discover the mystery of her existence. She suffers loss and learns the true meaning of love.

This book not only dives into the deeper meaning of loyalty and love but explores the nature of second-class citizens, war, and the desire for a better world. Cinder, a mechanic and cyborg is at the center of her world’s problems and she must work with people she never dreamed of meeting to discover her past and protect her future.
