This year, the students of NDP celebrated Halloween by coming to school dressed up in their costumes. The halls were filled with princesses, cats, devils (shoutout to the Social Studies Department for their awesome coordination with costumes), and characters from Harry Potter. The costumes, as always, were really creative and adorable. This, unfortunately, made things like the costume contest exceedingly hard to judge.
Many teachers were also dressed up. Among the teachers there was a Waldo, a Google Map, and several very convincing looking NDP students. In some of my classes, I felt like I was being taught by a student, a funny but very strange feeling.
One of the great things about dressing up is that it supported CCAP. Every person who dressed up paid $5 for the privilege of dressing up. Judging by the amount of people I saw that dressed up, I would say a lot of money was raised. All in all, Halloween at NDP was a great success and a lot of fun.
