Notre Dame Preparatory School’s Gala, Blossoms and Bow Ties, will be held on March 9, 2013 at The Grand Lodge of Maryland in Hunt Valley. The Gala is Notre Dame Prep’s largest fundraiser. The funds raised at this event through both live and silent auctions are used in providing the necessities to students as well as towards providing the students with the best teachers. Whether enhancing our already strong curriculum, improving technology, enriching the arts, athletics and other program initiatives, or providing financial aid to a deserving student, the proceeds from this event certainly move us forward. This event is an exceptional opportunity for friends and business associates of NDP to show their support.
This year at the fundraiser the theme is Blossoms and Bow Ties. In honor of the Gala, a special dress day is being held. Students are encouraged to wear an outfit which fits the theme of Blossoms and Bow Ties, whether it be a floral shirt or a bow tie! At the event, NDP students will “chaperone,” some even playing the piano. The event will take place from 6 o’clock in the evening until midnight, and after dinner the band “Mood Swings” is scheduled to perform. Included among the many items which will be auctioned off is a young German
Shepherd puppy, as well as a Ravens Football helmet signed by none other than number 88, Dennis Pitta. The Gala will be an incredible event which acts as an enormous fundraiser for the school.
