Middle Level Reflections on the Fall Season
B Team Field Hockey Overall Season-Camryn Diggins
The fall has come and gone and so has field hockey season! The middle level B field hockey team has had a wonderful year. Our overall status was three wins, three loses, and two ties. Our toughest game was against McDonogh because they moved the ball very well and worked well as a team. Our best game was, surprisingly, our first, against St. Paul’s School for Girls. At the beginning of the season, our team was good and had a lot of potential, but as it moved on, we improved greatly.
Losing isn’t a bad thing for us. It is something for us to reflect on and let us know what we need to work on in the future. By mid season, the B-team made better decisions on where to hit the ball, whom to pass to, and most importantly, how to work together as a team. Overall, the middle level B field hockey team had a very good season! GO BLAZERS!
6th Grade C Team Field Hockey-Mary Kate Guillott, Elizabeth Seward
Our team has not only grown in our skills, but also in our teamwork and friendship. For a team that has never played together we worked well as a team and everyone played a role in our winning season. When we were not on the field, we cheered loudly for our teammates and learned a lot from Coach Shannon. She is a great coach, and the whole team thanks her a lot! Everyone listened and paid attention no matter what. We ended the season being undefeated!
“Blazers, get your head in the game!”
