It’s the most wonderful time of the year, especially at NDP! The last day of school is by far one of the most festive and fun – filled days of the year, but most importantly it is when we have the beloved Christmas Liturgy. Christmas liturgy allows us all to bask in God’s light and grace by the birth of Jesus Christ. The candle lighting during the Readings shows how Christ’s coming puts a light in all of us, and how each one makes an impact. This mass is so special, even the alumnae from the previous graduating class are invited to come back for it. The mass becomes even more magical during the performance of “O Holy Night,” by the chorus and this year’s soloist, Abby Bilenki. Christmas Liturgy is the perfect way to end the 2024 portion of the school year; it allows us to realize why we go to a Catholic school and prepares us for the upcoming part of the New Year. I hope this year’s Christmas Liturgy, New Year’s and the break brought joy to all!
