From October 4th – October 6th, the Class of 2025 went on their junior retreat, and they’re reporting that it was a blast! This long-awaited tradition finally arrived for the junior class, and it’s safe to say it was a success.
This fun event was kicked off on Wednesday October 4th, when the entire class assembled in the chapel for a quick mass before heading off to their different retreat centers. The next day, the junior class bonded with one another in their individual advisories. They got to engage in different sessions focusing on relationships with each other, family, and God. Additionally, each advisory bonded over the food activities. Some got the chance to do rope courses, campfires, and even canoeing on a lake. Others were up in the mountains and were able to climb trees. There was free time where the juniors could read a book, take a nap, talk with their friends, or eat some of those snacks that everyone brought. The girls were able to form deep rooted connections with each other and their advisors, especially considering the fact that no technology was allowed. There were many good conversations, constant laughs for everyone, and memories that each of the juniors will cherish forever. The following day, the Class of 2025 had a few more activities to complete together before they all boarded the buses to return to campus.
Everyone reported that it was a great experience. One student said, “It was honestly so much more fun than I ever thought it would be. I grew closer with so many other people outside of my own friend group and made so many good memories”.
Now, with a little less than one month away from Ring, the juniors can bond over the unforgettable memories and experiences they shared with their sisters.
