At this time of the year, people are putting up Christmas decorations, shopping for presents for loved ones, and of course, baking all of that delicious Christmas food!  Personally, when I think of Christmas food, I immediately think of my family’s tradition of going down my grandparents a couple weeks before Christmas and making a TON of cookies!  And when I say a ton of cookies, I literally mean a giant pot of cookie dough made into small variously shaped cookies.  The younger kids of the family always end up making some unevenly cooked cookies, but in the end we end up with about a couple hundred cookies!  These cookies are a way for my family to connect and are a constant every Christmas.  During this time, things may get a little hectic, but it’s always good to relax, have a cookie, and just think about how lucky we are to associate Christmas with something as good as warm hot cocoa and cookies instead of cold nights and loneliness.  Merry Christmas!
