This year’s fifteen El Salvador delegates are organizing NDP’s fourth annual Coffee House. Coffee House will be held in the cafeteria on Friday, March 23 from 7 PM to 10 PM. The delegates have divided themselves into different planning committees, and the music committee has created a line up of numerous bands and small performance groups from different local high schools, which includes many NDP high school students.
In addition to the live entertainment, Coffee House attendants will enjoy an abundance of baked goods, contributed by the Baking Club, and coffees graciously donated by Baltimore Coffee & Tea. Those attending are also encouraged to make bracelets and cards which delegates will present to each family in Ignacio Ellacuria along with bags of supplies. Jessi Dickens and Jessie Lambdin, both delegates, have prepared decorative supplies and lists of Spanish phrases for everyone to incorporate into the cards.
Tickets are $8 per person and all proceeds are contributed to the scholarship funds for our sister school in the Ignacio Ellacuria community of El Salvador. Delegates will bring all donated supplies, collected both during Coffee House and at school to the Ignacio Ellacuria community.
Come out to Coffee House to support the Ignacio Ellacuria community on Friday, March 23 for a night of live entertainment, crafts, food, coffee and fun!
