The Notre Dame Prep basketball team played Maryvale on Tuesday, February 14, 2012. With an early jump on the lead, the Blazers only allowed the Lions to go on a little run in the end of the first quarter. It was a big game for the Blazers because they played the entire game. They maintained the lead into the second half and ended up winning by 27 points. The big “W” advances the team to play at St. Mary’s in Annapolis on Thursday, February 16 in the semifinals.
