Chick flicks. As girls, most of us have seen a film that is considered a “chick flick”. And while these films may not be exactly “mind bending,” they can be especially fun to watch. One of the newest chick flicks to come out is Endless Love.

Endless Love is a movie about two teens who end up falling in love and spend the summer together. The film features Alex Pettyfer (Beastly) and Gabrielle Wilde (Carrie) as the two teens. While being a little clichéd, it actually was a pretty decent movie. I would say it is more like Nicholas Sparks meets Romeo and Juliet with a little bit of Disney princess movie thrown in the mix, definitely a chick flick.  Another element that the movie did well was the comedy. There would be movies where certain characters would do or say something that got the audience laughing their heads off.

However, I found that the one drawback of this movie was how unrealistic it was. It seemed to be more fantasy than reality. The characters could be a little bland at times, and some of the scenes were not true to life. But this is something that you find with most chick flicks so in that way, it is not different.

If you love chick flicks or romantic dramas, I would completely recommend seeing this movie. It is a great movie to go and see with a couple of girlfriends for a night out. I know I had a lot of fun seeing it and would watch it again.
