Lighters thousand held above
Earth’s brimming darkness
Throbbing lights as proof of hope.
Thousands, who dare to hope and pray,
Hold out though evil is the day.
Even they bear light in their sway,
Revealing cities on hills and those in vallée.
Everywhere the eye can pace, their lights do play
Brimming darkness rises ten-fold.
Even now it has no valour to overcome.
Lighters thousand held above high,
Igniting and scorching the night sky.
Griefs, sorrows, miseries all draw nigh.
Hope can heal nothing but lends wings to fly.
Turn on the light for the sake of a blue sky.
